Coming to this great site is my newest tool?! I’m still figuring it out, but I hope to get the hang of it soon. My grand-sponsor says the keys are: get a big book, read the big book, get a sponsor, call sponsor Every day, pray work the steps and help others. I reach out to my sober friends several times a day. I also try to pray often and when I’m feeling agitated, I rethinking situation from another perspective.

    5 basics:

    1) Pray for God to help you stay sober another day
    2) Read your Big Book. 2 pages. Not 1. Not 3. 2!
    3) Call your sponsor
    4) Get your butt to a meeting
    5) Thank God for another day sober
