Women in Recovery 8 years, 9 months agoI’m connecting online because I broke my foot and I need rest…tried to do too much for grandchildren over Christmas.. didn’t drink but thought about it after a big fight between my adult daughters that I was dragged into… First time in years that I thought about drinking.

My daughters cause drama too. I have sat them down and told them that it really upsets me and makes me want to take to my bed or to booze. X

Women in Recovery 8 years, 9 months agoI am a week out of ankle surgery, and I was prescribed pain medicine. I relapsed on the medicine over the weekend, and I have since stopped taking it. Yesterday, I fell on my ankle, and I had to resume taking the medicine last night. Today I quit taking it. Today, my doctor offered to write me a prescription for a full refill of my medicine. Hi alcohol has always been a part of our life too. I binge drink and enjoy going out with my friends. My partner has a couple of drinks a night after work. He also goes to the local pub and has a few with his mates once a week. He does not worry. He is fine with it. I want to change my drinking habbits. However I still want to have fun withy friends too. X
