Good morning…day four…Since 11/11/17. One day at a time…but my hurdle will be tomorrow. Wednesdays are usually my tough day..one day at a time. I keep thinking about the serenity prayer and that first principal of the 12 steps.

This is day three. tried posting yesterday morning but the site wouldnt accept the post. Attended a local AA meeting again last night and took a white marble. Getting thru yesterday felt really good. Getting up today thanking God for another morning of no hang over, no head ache, not feeling ashamed or confused as to what I did or didnt do that…[Read more]

I went to my first meeting today. I was terrified and crying. But even with being afraid, ashamed, and totally uncomfortable, I feel better. I feel like there is some hope for me. Im going back this evening and I just pray i can get thru this whole day. It felt good to just talk to people who are dealing with, and have gone thru the same thing.

Hello. Im up. day 2 I guess of trying to just not do what i would normally be doing. Im wide awake I think because i went to sleep right after dinner and now…just awake on the website. And glad I can look at some of the literature and try to stay encouraged.
